What is Walking Football?
Walking football is a slower-paced version of traditional football designed for older adults or those with limited mobility. Players must walk instead of run, and physical contact is minimal. The game is usually played on smaller pitches with five to seven players per team. There are specific rules to follow—such as no running, no slide tackles, and keeping the ball below head height—to ensure safety and fairness. It helps improve fitness, coordination, and social interaction while reducing the risk of injury.
